Man in Reg masthead lingo terror ordeal

Y Ddraig Goch? WTF?

Letter We here at Vulture Central occasionally receive a missive so delightful that it merits a showcase of its own. In this case, one JK (we have the full name but have not published it for our correspondent's own safety) wrote to inform us of strange goings-on at El Reg on 1 March. Read on in wonder:

Subject: Weird text appearing on the front page of theregister.com well co.uk

"Y Ddraig Goch ddyry gychwyn"

is showing up instead of

"Biting the hand that feeds IT"

on the front page (upper left).

At first I thought it was in a different language, but it does not look like any kind of language..

If I navigate to other pages within the register website, it goes back to the right wording.
