Welsh nationalists in CAB hoax outrage
Sons of Glyndwr deface source code
It appears that Welsh nationalists have launched an offensive on the source code of the Citizens Advice Bureau website. (Update: it's a hoax site.)
Yes, the Sons of Glyndwr have been busy behind the scenes on the site's page which encourages citizens to E-mail your MP! Fax your MP! Let your voice be heard!. Here's a screengrab of part of said page:
Well, that all looks pretty normal, but what about if you look at the source code for that unordered list of political parties?:
<ul>
<li><a href="#fuckers"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif" size="3" color="#000080">Conservatives</font></a>
<li><a href="#newtory"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif" size="3" color="#000080">Labour</font></a>
<li><a href="#useless"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif" size="3" color="#000080">Liberal
Democrats</font></a>
<li><a href="#ochaye"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif" size="3" color="#000080">SNP</font></a>
<li><a href="#voteforthese"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif" size="3" color="#000080">Plaid
Cymru</font></a></li>
Oh dear, oh dear. So apparently Labour are the New Tories, who are themselves now relegated to "fuckers", while the useless Liberal Democrats can merely stand around listening to the SNP saying "ochaye". That only leaves one choice for the discerning voter: Plaid Cymru.
We suspect heads will roll when the culprit is uncovered. He or she shouldn't be too hard to find: just look for the BOFH dressed as a Druid and reciting Under Milk Wood in Welsh to his sheep.
In the meantime, Reg readers should enjoy this outrage while they can. We don't think it'll be around for very long. ®
