BTo broadband billing bungle – update

Count yourself lucky

Last month there was uproar among BTopenworld's broadband customers after we reported how the ISP had bungled its billing and failed to pass on price reductions for its service.

Quite rightly, those affected got the hump despite reassurances from BTo that those hit will be reimbursed.

But if you think that's bad, hear this. We've just been contacted by another BTo punter who's been charged twice on the same bill - once at the old price of £39.99 and again at the new price £29.99.

Understandably, our reader is a little hacked off at having £70 whipped off his credit card instead of just thirty notes.

"What a bargain, eh?!" he tells us.

Yes mate, some bargain. ®
