Computer Weakly advertiser hurls email abuse

Customer Service? We've heard of it...

We all know infuriating ads can be - especially when they're glued onto the front cover of a magazine.

One Reg reader recently suffered the complete destruction of his copy of Computer Weekly as a result of such an ad. He then rather rashly decided to take the advertiser to task. Note that some identities have been changed to protect the innocent:

Many thanks for placing such a huge, annoying, glued-on advert onto this week's Computer Weekly.

That all seems reasonable enough. But what about this response?:

I don't know who you are and I don't really care. Rest assured though we are placing many more adverts and hopefully they will be even more annoying.

Please don't bother replying as any further emails from you will end up where they belong. In the bin.

Total class. Customer service? No, you can all go and suck a big fat one. That's the sort of attitude we like at Vulture Central. We were going to have a look see what sx3 and sx3ps were all about, but then we don't really care. Please don't bother emailing us with any information, 'cos they'll just end up where they belong. Rest assured. ®
