Long live the Web...
Forrester Research's claim that the Web will eventually yield to an executable Net with throwaway code found little favour among our readers. Grant was among those who wanted to take Forrester CEO George F. Colony to task. Especially since the latter branded the Web 'dumb, boring and isolated':
Ok for one this guy is dumb, not the Internet. Does he have any programming skills and does he understand how the internet is constructed? You just can't create a shit load of "Executable applications" that run on every client operating system. What about traffic, does he think the networks are "boring" too? There's not unlimited bandwidth...
I don't want to go into detail, but this guy has hit a nerve and I'm pissed off to say the least. Can a GURU at the Register PLEASE critique his article and give him back some of the bullshit he's given us? Please, put a stop to this nonsense bullshittery.
