Alan Stanley kicked out of Dane-Elec?

French DRAM distie clams up

DRAM distributor Dane-Elec has kicked out its UK general manager and founder Alan Stanley after nine years.

Stanley was asked to leave the Dane-Elec building in Chessington, Surrey, yesterday, sources told The Register.

Jean-Pierre Lentignac, Dane-Elec European sales director, today refused to comment on Stanley's departure.

He said Stanley would remain employed at the company until July 21, but that he was not in the office today, and would not be available for comment in the coming weeks.

He also refused to say who, if anyone, would be Stanley's replacement.

Stanley, who helped set up the UK branch of Dane-Elec in the early nineties, was unable to give any more information, saying the matter was currently in the hands of his solicitor.

According to Lentignac, there will be an announcement on Tuesday regarding changes at Dane-Elec. ®
