Am I electable or not.com?

You decide whether Yoda should enter the Commons

An election special version of the hugely popular AmIhotornot.com site, where you get to rate the electability of a random selection of candidates.

The idea of AmIelectableornot.com is that you post pictures to the site and others decide on a scale of 1 to 10 how electable they are. Then, once you've decided, the average of all the votes passed comes up - along with the next picture. Sounds simple or even boring, but you'll find it's strangely compulsive.

Among the notables on the site now are Yoda, Ant & Dec, Gary Lineker, Terry Wogan plus many, many more.

There are a few real MPs in there, although it's getting slightly harder to find them. Claire Short for example comes in at 5.40. Frank Dobson gets 3.00. Old Bruiser Prescott has seen his popularity soar after punching a voter and he rests at 5.20. Perhaps surprisingly, Winston Churchill comes in at a disappointing 3.80.

Then there's two girls snogging (5.53), Paul Eddington, who played the Minister in top comedy Yes, Minister (6.39), a dog in a silly hat (6.27), some bloke leaning against a tree (2.98). We could go on.

Oh, and each one comes with an election pledge - some silly, some definitely not PC. ®
