Yahoo! is hoping increased sales of porn will help boost its flagging operation.
A story from the LA Times by way of Reuters reports that Yahoo! has quietly relaunched its "Adult and Erotica" store offering thousands of different videos and DVDs.
Yahoo! doesn't flog the stuff itself, you understand, that's done by its partners. But it does receive a cut of each sale instead.
Reuters reports that Yahoo! President, Jeff Mallett, defended his company's decision to pump up its sex selection and said: "We're hard and fast on being the largest enabler of commerce on the Web."
Not perhaps the choice of words we'd have used, Jeff, but there you go. ®
