Freeserve is considering re-jigging its share options package for employees following an eight-month slump in the company's share price. Freeserve is reported to be considering this option in a bid to hang on to its key staff. A number of US companies have already reset options, including Amazon and Microsoft.
LastMinute.com has snuggled up to BT, Nortel Networks and US outfit, Nuance, to let punters access its site just by using their voice. Brent Hoberman, CEO of lastminute.com, said that the voice recognition service would position Lastminute.com at the "forefront of new technologies and enhance the convenience element of our customer proposition".
Clipserver.com plc - the e-media monitoring company - has acquired Centz.com, a London-based newswire monitoring business formerly part of City Mutual Limited, for £70,000.
