Damn it, your article "Intel's best-kept secret revealed" made me laugh out loud in the office attracting the attention of everybody around. I didn't get in trouble though, as everybody joined me in the laughter after reading it too. Guess I will use this as an appreciation letter. Have been a daily Reg. reader for almost 2 years now, and gotta say, love the touch that you put on the news.

Once again, thanks and keep it up please!! The Register is one of the few sites on the net nowadays that's still original.

Yours from this place know as "The Silicon Valley".

GTech in big trouble

Surely decisiveness and stupidity are inextricably intertwined as far as we Brits are concerned. Isn't that the whole idea of public school?

Beckham only English footballer good enough for France

We know about soccer, and play it in our misspent youth, but once we grow up, we grow out of it, and don't pay attention to it until our kids play it, since they won't let My Poor Little Baby play *real* sports like Football, Rugby or Australian Rules Football.

OT: The Register is great, even though it took me a little time to realise that 'gaol' == 'jail'. Boy, u people should yank (no pun intended ;) out a dictionary.

How much of the Internet economy is fake?

I would love to use the forum, but I ain't going near delphi. Sorry.

Meanwhile - a very interesting article, and it states in words what I (and others I know) have been thinking and even contemplating. I am, sadly, too honest; but I know of one person who does something similar with a porn site referral thing. Sad, but worth a few hundred $ a month apparently.

Anyhow, the latter half of the article seems to tickle in my mind something historical - probably involving various US goldrushes or the railroad scams of the last century. Not being a Yank and not being classically educated, this is only a feeling of remembering something heard previously. If I find anything, I will pass it on.

Peter Galbavy
