Mr Legoland Windsor sued over his Web site

It's all seemed like a good idea at the time, says hungover Mr Windsor

The piss artist formerly known as Craig Cottrell has found himself on the end Danish toy company Lego's ire. It all started over a few beers with his mate. Inebriated, both of them decided to change their names by deed poll for a bet.

Craig's chosen new name was to be Legoland Windsor. His mate's, Cadbury's Chocolate. In the end, only Craig, sorry Legoland, went through with it and was £50 better off because of it. He then registered his namesake URL, www.legolandwindsor.com to use as his personal Web site.

Of course, the Lego theme park based in Windsor - we believe it's called Legoland Windsor - was not impressed and has started issuing legal letters. The High Court has said he has two days to hand over the URL to the enormously rich and powerful organisation.

The site did have pictures of Legoland and his mates, but it seems to be in a touch of trouble at the moment. We admire Legoland's stance and were especially impressed with his approach to Lego's legal letters: "I'm not responding to them because they are addressed to Craig Cottrell, not me." Class. ®
