FIC fetes 815e with mobos

Taiwanese manufacturer FIC has released two mobos based on Intel's 815e chipset which will support Pentium III chips at 1GHz and above.

The First Mainboard FS15 and FS35 also support Celeron processors in both FC-PGA and PPGA packaging, and use the ICH2 controller hub, support four USB ports, AGP 4x and ATA 100.

The FS15 has one AGP 4X, one comms and network riser(CNR) card, and five PCI slots, with three SDRAM PC-133 sockets supporting up to 512MB of memory. The FS35 has three PCI slots and two DIMM sockets and also supports six audio channels as well as surround sound. ®
