Computex Motherboard manufacturer Abit claimed to steal a march on the opposition by introducing a dual Socket 370 motherboard at the Computex Trade Fair today. The BP6 supports UDMA/66, a boost over the BX chipset’s slated speed of 33Mbps. Abit said it could manage that because of a hardware addon the company has designed. The board will support up to 768Mb of memory but needs Windows NT for SMP support. ®
