New board members for X-IO

Dave O’Callaghan and Mike Wall have joined the board of beleaguered X-IO Technologies.

Dave O’Callaghan has been a sales VP at VMware, Cisco and Hitachi. Mike Wall is ex-chairman and CEO of Amplidata, which he sold to HGST. We’re told by X-IO CEO Bill Miller that the firm has renewed momentum with “upcoming updates to our Intelligent Storage Element (ISE) platform and Axellio, our NVMe Super Server systems X-IO is positioned to provide breakthrough performance and cost, delivering solutions for demanding applications like cyber security, anomaly detection, bioinformatics and big data analytics. Adding Mike’s and Dave’s experience and leadership to our board of directors will help us get there.” ®
