Trump vs. Clinton III - TPP looks dead, RussiaLeaks confirmed

Reg finds tech needle in a haystack of stupid

Expect an outbreak of denials from whoever's got the credentials to @Wikileaks at the moment: Hillary Clinton has said no fewer than 17 civilian and government intelligence agencies point the finger to Kremlin interference in the election.

Clinton used that number during today's third debate between herself and rival United States presidential candidate Donald Trump WikiLeaks. At one point in that debate the topic of illegal immigration was raised, leading moderator Chris Wallace to quote from a Wikileaks e-mail and Clinton the chance to cyber-up.

The Wikileaks dump, Clinton said, demonstrated nothing more than “these cyber-attacks come from the highest levels of the Kremlin”.

Trump responded that “you have no *sniff* idea whether it's Russia, China, whatever”.

Trump also promised to “re-negotiate” or “terminate” the North American Free Trade Agreement to make a *sniff* great trade deal.

Both candidates also said they have little interest in ratifying the controversial Trans Pacific Partnership treaty, leaving its copyright extension provisions likely sunk .

Asked to commit on whether he would honour the result of the election, Trump said “I will look at it at the time”, adding “I will keep you in suspense”.

Lovely.

While this was going on, and someone at Wikileaks found the "Tweet" button and a working connection.

WikiLeaks didn't say how she confirmed that. Perhaps Clinton pointing to Russia's involvement in obtaining and releasing them was all the proof WikiLeaks needed? ®
