Pivotal turn to Google Cloud

Pivotal says that its Cloud Foundry PaaS will now run on Google Cloud.

The move will give Cloud Foundry customers another option for running apps built with the platform. According to Pivotal, it will also give companies running Cloud Foundry apps access to Google's own data service apps.

"These organizations can capitalize on Google's mastery of distributed systems in many ways," Pivotal says.

"But Cloud Foundry just might be the most familiar one; it's a great place for an enterprise to start." ®
