Exablox bundles backup tool

Scale-out file storage vendor Exablox is bundling backup software with its array nodes and claiming the gap between primary and secondary storage is disappearing.

Linked Exablox OneBlox nodes provide file-serving capabilities for primary and secondary storage, with continuous and unlimited snapshots, inline deduplication, compression and offsite replication.

The bundled ShadowProtect software from StorageCraft protects desktops as well as physical and virtual infrastructure with fine-grained (15-minute) recovery point objectives and instant backups. ®
