Xen 4.8 countdown begins

The Xen Project has emitted the first release candidate for version 4.8 of its hypervisor.

The advent of 4.8 RC1 means we can now expect weekly releases until the project's overseers decide it's ready for release into the wild. And weekly test days to put the new code through its paces, with Test Days on October 7, 14, 21 and 28. And perhaps on other days if more RCs are required.
