MSFT hikes training prices

Microsoft has announced it will hike the price of Microsoft Official Courses (MOCs), courseware for IT professionals it delivers through education partners.

Redmond's not not put a figure on the increase, offering only a short FAQ that says the “price adjustment” is coming in September 2016.

Intriguingly, the FAQ says Micrsosoft's yet to decide if the price rise will also hit the on-demand versions of MOCs.

The company is also yet to decide if Software Assurance training voucher prices will change.

All customers – even academic institutions – will have to cough up. ®
