Cavium revenue, losses rise

Networking semiconductor outfit Cavium has reported rising revenue for Q2 2016, but its losses are widening.

Its revenue for the quarter was US$107.2 million, up 2.1 per cent on the same period last year and up 5.2 per cent from Q1 2016.

However, losses are up. The company announced GAPP net loss of $7.4 million, up from $3.8 million for Q1 2016; gross margins remained stable at 66.9 per cent (66.8 per cent in Q1).
