Astro boffs to say bye to Philae lander

The European Space Agency is to turn off all commuication with the Philae lander tomorrow, according to probe's official Twitter account.

The mission to settle on Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko was not a roaring success - after hurtling through space for more than ten years, Philae came down hundreds of metres from its target landing area and landed in the shade so was unable to power itself with sunlight.
