Tintri EMEA VP moves to Gridstore

Doug Rich, VP EMEA at Tintri, has become VP EMEA at hyper-converged vendor GridStore.

Rich says CEO Nariman Teymourian has experience, energy and vision and that helped persuade him to make the move. Tintri is a great company with a formidable product, but the level of competition in that external storage market sector is intense. At GridStore, with its focus on Hyper-V hyper-converged systems, the number of competing suppliers is less and getting into POCs should be more achievable.

Ironically GridStore, like Tintri, was founded by an Irishman, and has had a new CEO come on board to fire up the company's growth. The move to support cloud services and potentially gain containerisation technology strengthens GridStore’s market position. Andy Hill, GridStore's previous EMEA VP, left and joined Pivot3 in May as its Area VP for Europe. ®
