Win 10 has Update date

Microsoft has confirmed the Windows 10 Anniversary Update as August 2.

The software giant posted a full blog after an earlier blog, apparently naming the date, was published and then pulled. It’ll come just over a year after Windows 10 first landed on July 29, 2015. That also seems to be the date when Microsoft’s year-long free giveaway on the original Windows 10 will come to an end. There were few details on the Microsoft site naming the August date, but Microsoft confirmed there’ll be no free Windows 10 after the one-year anniversary. “Our free Windows 10 upgrade offer is available until July 29,” Microsoft said. Full Windows 10 Home will be priced $119 in addition to being available pre-installed. ®
