Infinidat says au revoir to France head as marketing veep walks

Vacancies open all over the Continent, new offices across rest of world

We’re hearing Moshe Yanai's high-end storage array startup Infinidat has made workforce changes at its European operation.

Gareth Taube, VP of Marketing at Infinidat, said: “We have not changed anything about our investment strategy to expand across Europe. All of the offices in Europe that we announced in our expansion release of March 8th are still open and expanding.”

That announcement mentioned new offices across EMEA: London; Stockholm; The Hague; and Pretoria, South Africa. Infinidat has also opened offices in APAC: Hyderabad and Bangalore, India; Tokyo; Melbourne and Sydney, Australia; and Toronto, Canada.

Taube explained: “We have changed some managers recently to better focus our investments. Specifically we have removed our French country manager and are looking for a replacement and we have separated Europe and APJ from being managed by one person globally to being managed by two different senior managers.”

Why? “The goal of these changes is to better support the needs of our sales and partner teams and help them meet expanding customer demand.”

We think this means European sales haven’t been as large as Infinidat hoped, and understand Laurent Caillie is its ex-France country manager.

Infinidat has current European openings for sales managers in the Netherlands, Germany and France. It has hired Brad Pierrepoint as its country manager for Canada, and says it has a Canadian partner network that currently includes 10 resellers, plus early customer wins.

An Infinidat spokesperson tells us that Sabo Diab, Infinidat’s VP of International Marketing, has left the company. ®
