Two more Twitter execs quit

Another two senior executives at Twitter are heading off.

Nathan Hubbard and Jana Messerschmidt, who were in charge of the San Francisco-headquartered company's media and commerce and business development teams respectively, are both jumping ship, the biz has confirmed.

That makes six of the ten top execs at the upstart that have left this year. In January, head of engineering Alex Roetter, head of HR Brian Schipper, head of media Katie Jacobs Stanton, and head of products Kevin Weil all announced they were leaving.

Twitter is struggling to keep hold of its users and turn anything approaching a profit. Its most recent efforts have comprised tweaking its service to allow users to type more and buying third-hand rights to NFL games. ®
