Craig Wilson just can't catch a break. Tries to leave HPE, finds self back again
Exec heads to CSC via Xchanging... arrives back at the Hotel California
Will someone please spare a thought for industry old-timer Craig Wilson, the former UK boss of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services who - we are told - was glad to escape the firm’s internal politics.
Wilson departed the job in autumn 2014 amid a reorg that saw Jacqui Ferguson take change of the local operation, returning from the US where she was CEO Meg Whitman’s chief of staff.
He was then made veep of corporate restructuring at HP to help turn around Enterprise Services – the firm introduced a programme to cut costs including redundancies to turn losses into profits.
Wilson ran from Whitman but there will be nowhere to hide from CSC CEO Mike Laurie. We asked Wilson to comment but he has yet to respond. ®
