Atlassian goes mobile

As revealed by El Reg, Atlassian has created mobile apps for its JIRA and Confluence products.

The new apps are aimed at users beyond the development team.

Also new is a beta for Bitbucket Pipelines, said to be “a continuous delivery service built right within Bitbucket Cloud.” Better visibility of development efforts across teams is the aim. Users can push cloud to AWS or Azure and see all “commits, branches, and pull requests making it easier for in-context feedback.”

Jira has gained the ability to wield add-ons that integrate third-party services.

At the company's Atlas Camp in Barcelona today, the company will also announce it has clambered aboard the Open API Initiatives and open-sourced RADAR, a “custom site generator for Open API specs to host our API documentation.” The code's yours for the claiming here. ®
