Microsoft gender pay gap

The pay gap between men and women at Microsoft remains virtually unchanged – a year and a half after CEO Satya Nadella kicked off a diversity and inclusion drive.

Executive vice president of human resources Kathleen Hogan reports that for every dollar a man makes at Microsoft, a woman in the same position makes 99.8 cents, up slightly from 99.7 cents. One word: shocking.

Hogan also says that the pay gap for minority workers is being phased out, as employees who are racial and ethnic minorities make slightly more than their white counterparts, logging $1.04 to the dollar. ®
