Alert: Nvidia GPU Tech Conference kicks off today

Standby for Nvidia news this morning in California: the Santa Clara-based graphics chip giant is holding its annual GPU Technology Conference (GTC) in San Jose this week. CEO Jen-Hsun Huang's opening keynote starts at 9am Pacific Time.

He is expected to touch on AI, virtual reality and self-driving cars, among other things – one being Pascal, Nvidia’s fifth-generation GPU architecture. We’ll bring you the ins and outs of GTC 2016 over the course of the week. ®
