What would you give to create Vulture Sweat?

We'll make a fair bit of it this weekend on a charity bike ride

What would you give to create Vulture sweat? We're hoping you'll give a few dollars because this is a very good cause.

Reg APAC Editor Simon Sharwood will make some Vulture Sweat this coming weekend, as he participates in the “Gongride”, the annual bike ride from Sydney to the nearby city of Wollongong.

At 83kms and 415 metres (not km - Ed) of climbing, it's not the most challenging ride on the cycling calendar. But it is among the most worthy: the ride supports MS Australia, the organisation that supports those living with Multiple Sclerosis and also funds research into the disease.

Simon's been clocking up the kilometres to ready himself for the ride, although one training ride was curtailed when his front brake fell off. Which explained the weird rattling sound coming from the front wheel of his bike. Simon's not alone: the Vulture Velo team's other two members Simon B and Aidan S have also prepared for the ride.

But we digress: let's get back to what you'd give to create Vulture Sweat.

Even if you think our output is only worth a $5 contribution to MS Australia, please do so at the event's page here.

And if you'd like to donate rather more - AUD$250 – we'll fling you a Vulture Velo cycling jersey, only available to donors.

If you've signed up for the ride and fancy joining our team, it's still open too at the link above. ®
