Study Do you dream of a world in which business people just get on and use what you give them? Amid all the support calls, change requests and high pressure projects, you could be forgiven for thinking that way, especially at those times when it feels like you are fighting a losing battle.

There’s nothing worse than being under the cosh to deliver when you don’t have the tools you need, or have to work around an infrastructure that was never designed to deal with what you are trying to achieve.

Of course if it weren't for ever-changing business requirements, many of us would be out of a job. And let’s face it, life would get boring very quickly if we never had anything new and interesting to do.

Perhaps a better world to wish for would therefore be one in which you had all the modern technology, tools and resources you needed to get the job done, without all that frustration and compromise.

With this in mind, we’d love you to take part in our latest temperature check survey.

This time we are looking at the state of your infrastructure and how well it’s geared up to deal with the demands that are likely to be coming from the business over the next three years or so.

If you are in good shape, and surrounded by lots of new, shiny, future-proof tech, then this is your opportunity to brag about it.

If, as is more likely the case, you know that at least some of your systems will increasingly fall short of requirements, if they are not doing so already, here’s your chance to put a stake in the ground and say what you need.

As usual, we will collate and analyse all of your responses and feedback the main conclusions to you. We’ll also give you a nice write-up that you can use to assess where you are in comparison with your peers, and perhaps use as a starting point for making the case for more investment.

You can get stuck into the survey here.
