CIOs: Sign up for The Register's 2015 Roundtables

Help write our CIO Manifesto using just the power of your voice

Reg Events The Register kicks off its 2015 Roundtables in March as we continue to explore the real world challenges faced by top IT execs, and their ingenious responses, in our CIO Manifesto program.

One of the biggest challenges facing you when you snag the top job is making sure the rest of your staff is up to the job too, so on March 3 we'll be asking:

How do you build and keep a winning team?

On April 22, we’ll be taking a look into the future and asking:

Which technologies will really change your business over the next decade?

It doesn’t matter whether they exist or not. The point is what should vendors - or your own developers - be doing to help you run your business better.

We’ll taking a more short-term view on May 20 when we ask:

What are the big security challenges in a post PC world?

Some threats may be based a continent away, but we suspect some are in a corner office not far from yours. How do you balance and manage the threats, wherever they come from?

All the events will take place in Central London, and will follow the formula we refined at last year’s roundtables: a 3.30pm kickoff for the formal conversation, followed by drinks, canapes and informal conversation in our private bar. All of this is conducted under the Chatham House rule, to allow you to speak freely and enlighten or learn from your peers.

Each meeting will be followed by a detailed anonymised report, painting a picture a picture of CIOs’ real world challenges, and their own real-world responses, free of vendor greenfield-ism or consultant cant. If you don't believe us, just read the links below.

Over time they will constitute a CIO Manifesto, documenting the reality of running digital today. We’ll be announcing details of further roundtables soon.

You can sign up for updates here, and you can also follow the dedicated CIO Manifesto twitter feed. ®
