El Reg intros post editing for all

Ten minute window to clean up your typos

Readers' corner As some of you have already noticed, we opened up post-editing for all yesterday (once five of your comments have been accepted for publication).

This gives you a 10-minute edit window to clean up your typos, a feature previously available to gold and silver badge members only.

Post-edit is the feature second most requested by readers for improving our commentard UI – behind inline voting, which we introduced earlier this month.

If necessary, we will enable public views of the edits you make to your posts, but let's see how this goes first.

Any bugs with post editing? Let us know via our buglist forum thread.

Also, we have a roadmap at El Reg Forums. Anything you'd like to add to the wishlist? ®
