BioWare gives fans new Mass Effect 3 ending

Extended explanation available now

Mass Effect 3 owners unhappy with the game's ending will be pleased to know they can now get their mitts on an expanded version, with additional scenes and an extended epilogue to reveal the impact Commander Shepard's choices have on the future of the galaxy.

Those with Mass Effect 3 on the Xbox 360 can start downloading the 1.85GB file now, while PS3 owners may have to wait until later this afternoon.

Mass Effect 3

Earlier this year, gamers rallied online for a better ending after expressing their disappointment on the way BioWare closed the trilogy. Scammers soon capitalised on this inviting fans to a bogus Mass Effect 3 webpage for an alternate ending.

The developer surprisingly answered fans calls, though and revealed it would release an extended version in a bid to appease the masses. Here it is, folks, let us know what you think. ®
