Samsung's Galaxy Beam - the smartphone with a built-in projector - is set to hit UK shelves this month after retailers revealed its expected release date.
The Samsung Galaxy Beam was on show at Mobile World Congress [1] in February, sporting a 4in, 480 x 800 display and a 1Ghz dual-core processor running Android 2.3.
The obvious selling point here, though, is the handset's projector capabilities, able to cast a 50in beam with a 720p resolution. Other specs include 8GB of internal memory, a 5Mp camera and a reasonable battery capacity of 2000mAh.
The Carphone Warehouse has listed the Galaxy Beam [2] as coming in June 2012, with punters able to register their interest from today. Prices have yet to be revealed. ®
