Australian Company Annex Products has unveiled* an iPhone case with a sliding compartment designed to store two condoms without revealing the popular prophylactics' telltale bulge.
The idea for the product, according to a promotional video [1], came after a young Australian man visited his girlfriend's home for the first time, tossed his wallet onto a table and then had to flee after parents figured out just why there was a disk-shaped protuberance in his wallet.
Annex's answer is a hard case with a sliding panel that can discretely store two condoms, along with an iPhone 4 or 4S.
Dubbed the “Playa”, the case is said to be "coming soon [2]".
The Register is making inquiries to learn if the Playa can cope with common condom sizes, namely Huge, Gigantic, Colossal and Enormous. ®
* We're pretty sure this is not an April fool as material we were sent about the Playa was dated April 3rd.
