HTC's upcoming Tegra 3-based smartphone, the One X, was made available for pre-order this week as networks revealed their tariffs in a bid to pull in the punters.

The Taiwanese manufacturer's first five-core beast can be ordered from Carphone Warehouse [1] and Phones 4U [2] free from £36 a month on two-year contracts. It can be snagged Sim-free for £480.
UK network Three offers the phone free [3] on the data-centric One Plan for £37 per month, while Vodafone's [4] and T-Mobile's prices [5] start at £41 per month.
The phone itself, built into a polycarbonate unibody, features the 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich. It includes a 4.7in, 1280 x 720 display, an 8Mp camera and 16GB of on-board storage. It also comes with a set of urBeats headphones.
The HTC One X [6] will hit shelves in early April. ®
