Samsung has begun taking advance orders for its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based Galaxy Nexus smartphone.
Or, rather, Phones4U has, but it's the supplier Samsung is flagging up on its Facebook page, effectively making the yoof-centric chain Samsung's official Nexus seller.

Last week, Samsung said the Galaxy Nexus will arrive in the UK on 17 November. Fill in the form on Samsung's Facebook page [1] and "Phones4U will contact you about obtaining the Samsung Galaxy Nexus when it is launched".
Samsung hasn't specified a price for the Galaxy Nexus, and neither its Facebook page nor the Phones4U website [2] list how much you might pay if your advance order is accepted. Other retailers have it listed at just under £520.
The Nexus runs ICS on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. There's 16GB of storage on board, and a 5Mp camera on the back. The skinny handset has a 1.3Mp webcam too. Its display is a 4.7in, 1280 x 720 OLED job. ®
