Apple confirms iPhone 4S battery bashing bugs

'Several' glitches uncovered

Apple has coughed to the battery drain problem plaguing iPhone 4S owners and has promised to flatten the bug.

Insisting the issue was being experienced only by "a small number" of punters, Apple nonetheless said it had uncovered "several" battery bashing bugs and will update iOS 5.0 to fix them "in a few weeks".

iOS 5.0.1 - presumably - will no doubt make use of the Apple OS' new over-the-air update facility. ®
