Bling-centric ruffians and aspiring Del Boys will be pleased to know the Apple Macbook Pro is now available in 24-carat gold.
Check out this MBP from customisation specialist Computer Choppers.
The case has been plated in 24ct gold with a clear coating to make it scratch proof, and even though the keyboard and trackpad are merely colour matched, you can still imagine DJ Tim Westwood [1] saying "That's straight blazin' homey". Pfft.
Considering the price of gold seems to defy gravity, perhaps this will a rare example of a laptop that actually gets more valuable as time goes by.
The gold plated MacBook Pros are available in 13in, 15in and 17in models. Prices start at $5000 (£3100).
