T-Mobile has made a complete Scrooge-around on its mobile data allowances, announcing a "truly unlimited" deal for new and existing customers.
Over the summer, new punters, or those eligible for upgrade, can take up the offer if the take out a two-year contract of £25.54 or more.
Those who are not yet eligible for the upgrade can sign up too, as long as they're on a contract of equivalent length and cost, with some data included. Others will need to fork out a fiver each month to see out the remainder of their contract with the data plan included.
Earlier this year, T-Mobile controversially slashed its fair use data allowance [1] but soon retracted the decision after customers denounced the telco for employing bait and switch tactics [2].
The T-Mobile unlimited data plan [3] is available between 1 July and 30 September. More information will go up with the official webpage tomorrow. ®
