Inside the Royal Mail's Internal Cloud

Back by public demand: this time it's private

Broadcast Holmes and Watson. Kirk and Spock. The Chuckle Brothers. And now, Steel and Knaresborough.

Recently we brought you the feel-good tale "Royal Mail Moves to the Cloud" , in which intrepid Adrian Steel and trusty companion Glyn Knaresborough migrated 30,000 desktops - and lived to tell Reg readers their heartwarming story. They were so good, we had to give them Easter eggs and make them answer all the questions we didn't have time to include in the show.

We're not fools. Box office was so good, they're back to bring us the surefire summer blockbuster "Virtualisation to Hyper V: Inside the Royal Mail's Internal Cloud", the story of what RM is doing with its servers, why, and what we can learn from the trail they blazed.

We won't tell you if its a drama, a comedy, a horror story or a romance. You'll have to watch it and see. But we can tell you it will have thrills, surprises and edge-of-your-seat suspense. You will shed tears, in a good way.

Join us on June 29th 11:00 BST for this free event by registering. If you are unable to make the live broadcast you have the opportunity to watch it at your own convienience by signing up for our on demand edition.
