Requirements Checklist for Choosing a Cloud Backup and Recovery Service Provider

Video We recently had Reg reader and Lastminute.com IT director of transformation, Terry Dewhurst in our studio explaining how to do project and program management properly.

Terry has a pretty serious reputation when it comes to project management in all its shapes and sizes. You'll see why. If Terry doesn't know it, it's fairly safe to assume it's not worth knowing.

Terry isn't alone in there. He's joined by the inimitable Tim Phillips from El Reg, along with Dale Vile from Freeform Dynamics and Bob Walker from Microsoft – another massively experienced PM. Between them they run through a rack of project management scenarios, challenges, techniques and practicalities.

It's a much over used phrase, but really, if you're into Project Management and Program Management, you just can't afford to miss this.

It was recorded a couple of weeks ago in our central London bunker and lasts an hour.

So, if you're a seasoned project manager thinking that things seem to be getting harder, or someone new to the game looking for pointers beyond the text book, tune in now here.

You might want to have a glance at this too. ®

Sales pitch

I could not hold on to finish this, as this video became a glorified sales pitch for MS project tools. That in itself, would not be an issue if there was some balance. I am really surprised, not sure I will watch any Register videos for fear of product placement....
