Nokia is now allowing its fans to place advance orders for its upcoming C7 capacitive touchscreen smartphone [1].

The handset goes on sale direct from Nokia [2] next week, but there's only a further seven days' wait if you want to buy one from someone else. Not that much need, then, to order early, we'd say.
If you do, it's £389, Sim-free.
Your dosh buys you an 8Mp camera; 3.5in, 360 x 640 OLED display; five-band HSDPA 3G connectivity; quad-band GSM/Edge connectivity; 802.11n Wi-Fi; Bluetooth 3.0; and an FM radio. There's 8GB of on-board memory, but there's always a Micro SD card port if you need more.

The C7 runs the new Symbian^3 OS [3].
It's be available in "Charcoal black", "Mahogany brown" and "Frosty metal" - the latter a reference to Rob Halford's 2009 Christmas album [4], we presume... ®
