Manchester to host UK's first Apple AirPlay demo

Lots more at the Manchester Home Entertainment Show

Hi-Fi maker Denon will tomorrow give the first UK demo of Apple's AirPlay technology - the revamped AirTunes that now incorporates video.

The company will be showing off its upcoming AVR 3311 AV receiver which, when it ships early next year, will be able to stream content from a computer running iTunes, and be controlled by Apple's Remote app.

Panasonic 3D TV

The demo will take place at the Manchester Home Entertainment Show, which runs over the entire weekend - 16 and 17 October - at the Renaissance Hotel in the centre of the city.

The Show will also play host to what the organisers claimed will be country's biggest 3D TV showcase, complete with screens, projectors and players from the major manufacturers.

Vogel iPad mount

Other Show highlights include a unique wall-mount for the Apple iPad, the latest Sonos home music wireless technology, new three-way floorstanding speakers from B&W and a whole lot more.

You can find full travel and showtime details at the Manchester Home Entertainment Show website. Entrance tickets cost £6. ®
