Town about town

Agentless Backup is Not a Myth
After a cut-price alternative to a BlackBerry? LG [1] may have what you're after: the Curve-esque C300.
Also called the Town, the C300 has a 2.4in display mounted above a Qwerty microkeyboard. There's a 2Mp camera on the back for ad hoc snapping, plus push email and Facebook and Twitter read-outs to keep your social circle up to date.

It's even got an on-board FM radio - Bluetooth 2.0 too.
LG kept quiet about the C300's connectivity, and we can confirm it's only goes up to Edge. There's no Wi-Fi either, in keeping with the Town's low-budget emphasis.
How low? Orange, for one, wants just £69 [2] for it with a Pay As You Go connection. Tesco and Phones4U will be offering the C300 too. ®
