Sony Ericsson has Tweeted its followers to tell them the Android 2.1 update for the Xperia X10 - reviewed here - will be out before the end of September.

That, at any rate, is the plan, according to the company's Twitter page.

This timetable is a small improvement on the previous forecast, made in May and which said the update will go live in Q4 2010. ®
