The menu system is clear and the touchscreen reasonably responsive, although not as nifty as others I’ve used. Also, rather annoyingly, you have to touch the screen twice to confirm your shooting mode selection.

Touch and Shoot does what it says on the tin – you select a subject with your finger and the camera shoots it. But battery life is disappointing, and picture quality was variable; a number of shots were over-exposed with washed out colours.

Verdict

One of the cheapest touchscreen cameras on the market, with sleek looks and a well-designed menu system. Picture quality is a bit of a let-down though. ®

One of the most affordable touchscreen cameras, but a bit of a curate’s egg when it comes to performance.
