Panasonic plugs movie rental service into net tellies

Panasonic has brought the Acetrax movie rental and downloads service to its internet-connected Viera HD TVs.
The Lovefilm-like Acetrax is delivered through VieraCast, Panasonic's internet TV front-end.
Viera owners will need to sign up for the service at the Acetrax website and set up an account to which rental and download fees are billed.
Panasonic said Acetrax has more than 2000 new-to-view and back catalogue films and TV programmes to choose from. ®
