Medion says splash out on waterproof speakers

Perfect player for pool parties?

Play your WAVs among the waves with this waterproof wireless speaker from electronics vendor Medion.

Aesthetically slick with a spherical design, the Medion Life E6901 is powered by AA batteries and floats on the water's surface, withstanding damage if submerged, the company claims.

Drop the beat!

Connect whatever device you're using to the 3.5mm jack on the mains powered transmitter cradle. With a 100m range, all of this can be kept a dry distance away. You can alter the volume through buttons on the speaker unit.

One transmitter can support up to ten of these floating balls, although Medion's not yet selling the speakers separately. A package with one speaker, cables and the transmitter box is available from Medion directly for £90. ®
